Now you to can try and make the Kessel Run in less than 12 Parsecs with Hasbro’s latest release. For the first time ever the iconic Millennium Falcon will be available as a flying R/C vehicle. The controls are simple and the blades are on the inside which will keep them from getting banged up. I for one can’t wait to get my hands on one of these when then come out this fall.

Next up in the is the R/C Hailfire Droid vehicle. This droid has some serious speed and firepower. Armed with an 18 projectile cannon, which can be controlled with the remote, and excellent maneuverability your clone army will be well equipped. The vehicle is done in 3 3/4 inch scale and comes with a clone trooper action figure.  This will be available in August.

The General Grievous Lightsaber features dual light sabers with a spinning hub in the center to allow for a whole new level of combat. Each lightsaber can be detached to allow for two handed wielding or connected to make a double bladed weapon alla Darth Maul. With these option and electronic lights and battle sounds your kids and co-workers will have plenty of options to make for some interesting melee. This will also be available in August.

As fellow geek dad writer Jason B. Jones reported in his article Giant AT-ATs and More at the Hasbro Collector/Fan Media Event at Toy Fair Hasbro has really come up with some pretty cool items for this year.
