The Abrams Planetarium Sky Calendar is a nice and easy guide to the night sky. Subscribers receive three calendars style sheets every quarter. The calendar features the planets, phases of the moon and other interesting astronomical events for North America (40 Degrees Latitude). The reverse of side of the calendar has a simplified sky map that is great for kids to use to start learning about the night sky.

The calendar has received awards for excellence in educational journalism and Sky & Telescope, called it “one of the most approachable, understandable, and friendly observing guides ever offered.”
